This time, Aqua World Ibaraki Prefecture Oarai Aquarium will participate in the "10rd Everyone's Naka River Project", which is a collaboration between zoos and aquariums in Fukushima, Ibaraki, Tochigi, and Gunma prefectures called "FIGHT3 Aqua and Zoo Project". We will carry out cleaning activities at the location.

What is “Everyone’s Nakagawa Project”?...

In order to continue to protect the rich and beautiful natural environment of the Naka River basin, which has been a place of our daily life since ancient times, zoo and aquarium staff and local residents wishing for the coexistence of nature and living things to think together and act together. This is an attempt to do so.

What is “FIGHT10”?

"FIGHT10" is a collaborative project that connects zoos and aquariums in Fukushima Prefecture (F), Ibaraki Prefecture (I), Gunma Prefecture (G), and Tochigi Prefecture (T) with a heart (H). 11 zoos and museums will collaborate to hold an event that provides guests with a place to interact with living things and a place of relaxation. So far, we have held stamp rallies and public participation events using SNS.
