Mustache shark exhibit
The exhibition of mustache sharks has started.
In Japan, this shark is distributed from Chiba Prefecture to the coast of Kochi Prefecture, the Ryukyu Islands south of Okinawa Island, and Goto Nada.
As its name suggests, it has a very long whisker-like flap on its nose and large horn-like spines on its first and second dorsal fins.
It will be the first exhibition in about six years since 25 at the museum.
Please take a look at the mustache shark swimming slowly and gracefully.
