The world of Eric Carle's picture books
Eric Carle's incredible works inspire children to develop a passion for learning and inspire an interest in imaginative play and exploration. Trusted by parents, teachers, librarians, and other child-care professionals, and beloved by generations of children around the world for their stories, his timeless picture books, like "The Very Hungry Caterpillar," are filled with colorful, imaginative expression and designed to inspire children's minds, who, like the hungry little caterpillar, have an insatiable appetite for play and learning. Eric Carle was an internationally acclaimed author of early childhood picture books, and many of the books he illustrated have become bestsellers. Though he sadly passed away in May 2021 at the age of 91, his work continues to inspire contemporary artists and illustrators.
Special Exhibition "The World of Eric Carle's Picture Books and His Colorful Friends"
This corner will introduce colorful small creatures, such as the thrush shrimp and the ring-finger coral hermit crab, whose beautiful colors are reminiscent of Eric Carle's colorful worldview. The body colors of these creatures conceal ecological ingenuity, such as camouflage to protect themselves from predators and signs of poison, so visitors can not only enjoy the cuteness of their appearance, but also learn about the diverse lifestyles of marine life. 【way to participate】
Participation requires an admission fee for everyone.
Numbered tickets will be distributed in the Shark Daddy's Room from 9:00 AM on the day of the event. Please obtain a numbered ticket for your desired time slot and come to the venue.
- Each group is limited to one shot. Please hand over your smartphone or camera to the photographer.
- Numbered tickets are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis, so it is possible that the time slot you wish to attend may already be sold out.
Please note. - To avoid congestion, please have only one representative line up in the ticket distribution line.
- To allow as many people as possible to enjoy the photo session, participation will be limited to one per group per day.
- The location and content may change depending on the congestion situation.
