Backyard tour

You will be guided behind the scenes of the aquarium where the keepers work, with commentary from the keepers.

Dolphin Backyard Tour

You can hear about the mother and calf bottlenose dolphin born in November, and take a tour of the back yard where the dolphins live, accompanied by explanations from the trainer.

Commemorating the New Year's Aqua World 2026　A sea lion's heartfelt touch!

New Year's Aqua World 2026This event will be held for four days only to coincide with the event! A sea lion will use powerful brush strokes to write a kanji character perfect for the New Year on a colored paper right in front of you, and give it to you as a gift. *You cannot choose the character.

Seal food

In the outdoor area "Ocean Terrace," you can feed the charming sea lions.

Sea lionand handshake event

You can enjoy interacting with lively sea lions on the Ocean Terrace.

Aqua World Oarai is the only aquarium in Japan where you can experience a special time with Canadian river otters.
