If you wish to participate, please purchase a participation ticket for the desired program from the ticket vending machine in front of the general information, and gather at the meeting place.

Backyard tour

You will be guided behind the scenes of the aquarium where the keepers work, with commentary from the keepers.

• If you are unable to purchase a ticket for your companion due to sold out, please contact the general information desk.
• Children under elementary school age must be accompanied by an adult(Participation tickets are also required for attendants).
• Children under the age of 3 can participate, but please refrain from participating in strollers. (Strollers will be kept at the entrance of the backyard.)
• After the meeting time, it will be canceled.Also, refunds are not possible.
• The backyard is wet and slippery.Please be careful of your feet.
• You may look into the water tank from above.Please be careful not to drop anything in the water tank.

Starting November 13th! Shark Special Tour (with feeding experience)

This is a special backyard tour specializing in "sharks", which boasts the largest number of kept species in Japan!

Meeting Place	5th floor, next to the Canadian otter tank (in front of the toilet)

• Children under elementary school age must be accompanied by an adult. The accompanying adult must also have a participation ticket.
• Children under 4 years old are not permitted to participate.
• There are stairs to climb. Wheelchairs and strollers are not permitted.
• The back yard is wet and there are slippery areas. Please be careful where you step. The soles of your shoes will need to be disinfected.Sandals are not permitted.
• Please refrain from taking photos and videos in the backyard.
• If you are unable to arrive by the scheduled time, your reservation will be cancelled and no refunds will be given.

• Feed with tongs over a 90 cm high fence in the area under the stairs.Limited to those who can participate in the program by themselves.(You cannot participate while holding a child.)

Sea lionand handshake event

You can enjoy interacting with lively sea lions on the Ocean Terrace.

Otter food

Aqua World Oarai is the only aquarium in Japan where you can experience a special time with Canadian river otters.
