Special Programs in February
The special programs for February include "Special Shark Tour (including feeding experience)" and "How a Shark's Body Work" to commemorate the opening of the special "Super Shark Exhibition," as well as six other programs: "Sea Lion Energy Injection!", where sea lions will cheer on those in need of energy this winter, "Fur Seal Meal," "Otter Meal," and "Dolphin Backyard Tour."

In addition, in the touching pool, special programs are held every day that allow you to experience contact with living creatures. here.Please also take a look.
If you wish to participate, please purchase a participation ticket for the desired program from the ticket vending machine in front of the general information, and gather at the meeting place.
Please note that there are some notes on participation, so please check them in advance.
Shark special tour (with feeding experience)
This is a special backyard tour specializing in "sharks", which boasts the largest number of kept species in Japan!

- If you are unable to purchase a ticket for your companion due to sold out, please contact the general information desk.
- Children under elementary school age must be accompanied by an adult(Participation tickets are also required for attendants).
- Children under the age of 3 can participate, but please refrain from participating in strollers. (Strollers will be kept at the entrance of the backyard.)
- After the meeting time, it will be canceled.Also, refunds are not possible.
- The backyard is wet and slippery.Please be careful of your feet.
- You may look into the water tank from above.Please be careful not to drop anything in the water tank.
- Please refrain from taking photos and videos in the backyard.
The structure of a shark's body
To celebrate the opening of the "Super Shark Exhibition," a zookeeper will dissect a shark and explain its anatomy.

- Please note that this program involves the zookeeper dissecting and observing sharks, so please refrain from attending if you are sensitive to smells, etc. If you leave the program midway, there will be no refunds.
- We will be walking through the backyard. Please be careful as the ground is wet and slippery.
- Taking photos or videos in the backstage area or during the program is not permitted.
- If you can't come by time, we will cancel it.Also, refunds are not possible.
Sea lionEnergetic injection!
If you need some encouragement during the cold winter, whether that's preparing for exams or a new life, the sea lions will cheer you up!

Seal food
In the outdoor area "Ocean Terrace," you can feed the charming sea lions.

Otter meal
A special time with Canadian otters that you can meet at Aqua World Oarai, the only aquarium in Japan.

- Feed the animals through a transparent acrylic plate.

- If you are late for the meeting time, your reservation will be cancelled. We cannot offer refunds for reasons of your own convenience after the meeting time.
Dolphin Backyard Tour
Along with explanations from the trainers, you can also visit the back yard where the mother and calf bottlenose dolphins born in March 2024 live.
