Special programs for October include the "Backyard Tour," "Shark Special Tour (with feeding experience)," and "Penguin Meal" every day. In addition, six other programs will be held: "Seal Meal," "Sea Lion Meal," and "Otter Meal."

In addition, in the touching pool, special programs are held every day that allow you to experience contact with living creatures. Please also take a look.

If you wish to participate, please purchase a participation ticket for the desired program from the ticket vending machine in front of the general information, and gather at the meeting place.

Backyard tour

We will guide you behind the scenes of the aquarium where the aquarium keepers work, with commentary from the keepers.

Shark special tour (with feeding experience)

This is a special backyard tour specializing in "sharks", which boasts the largest number of kept species in Japan!

Seal food

At the live event, you can feed the very popular sea lions and observe them skillfully catching food up close.

A special time with Canadian otters that you can meet at Aqua World Oarai, the only aquarium in Japan.

• Feed the animals through a transparent acrylic plate.
• The backyard is wet and may be slippery.
